Voluntary Water Conservation Measures in Effect for Area Localities

Henrico, Richmond, Chesterfield, Goochland, and Hanover, have implemented voluntary water conservation measures effective Nov. 3. If area localities do not receive significant rainfall, mandatory water conservation measures are likely to take effect within the next two weeks.

We're Now "Henrico, Virginia"!

Our residents have spoken! As you know, an overwhelming majority of county residents supported the address change from "Richmond, Virginia" to "Henrico, Virginia" in a survey last spring. A full 61 percent of respondents voted "yes" to change our mailing address, and if you haven't already, now is the time to start using it! Read more about the "Henrico, VA" address.

The County's Own Mailing Address The mailing address for the county general government is now "Henrico, Virginia." With this transition, the United States Postal Service (USPS) has issued a new post office box number for the county government. All citizen correspondence should include the new address as shown on the right. Please remember to include the appropriate county department and name of the individual where applicable.
